Not her day at all...nor mine either. But I think she has a message for me today.
"Listen: there was once a king sitting on his throne. Around him stood great and wonderfully beautiful columns ornamented with ivory, bearing the banners of the king with great honor. Then it pleased the king to raise a small feather from the ground, and he commanded it to fly. The feather flew, not because of anything in itself but because the air bore it along. Thus am I, a feather on the breath of God."
I forget sometimes...the feather is nothing without the ruach.

Thank you, Barbi for the entire story. I love Hildegard...thank you for sharing this...it explains a lot about your wonderful self.
I'll take a Hildagarde post anytime.
I cannot tell either one of you how long ago I found this quote. But I have kept it close to me since that time. It reminds me that without that breath...I can do nothing.
I have read some about Hildegard. I need to read a lot more about her. A lot more. I think she was a very gutsy woman.
